................. .................... ........................ ............................. ................................... This took me FOREVER!! This was my side of an Art Request by a one *xMarinx that we had done waaay back in August. August!! x__________X Wanna know what year it was? 2005. That's right, 2005. The only reason I say "forever" is 'cause it took me forever to finally get around to making it. In all actuality, it took me a little less than five hours to fully complete. Dani says that it's a scene from one of her FanFics. The Original drawing is here --> [link] That's the picture I had to go by, and she told me to use my imagination when creating this. I thought, that since it was during the Night, I'd make emphasis on the moon outside. In this scene, as in Dani's words: "This is my character Dani and her guardian Trunks. In this story the girls are split up from their guardians and thrown into a world of illusion, illusions of their old lives before being brought together. The point in the story that this takes place Dani is dead (notice the eye and all the blood) and Trunks was too late to save her soul from being shattered by the demon that was assigned to kill her. He lifts her broken body from the floor, his eyes filling with tears, and he kisses her. Then, we have the anime moment in which his kiss restores her soul and brings her back to life. Ahh, the kiss of Trunks!" So, this drawing is, Dani's soul has been taken from her, and Trunks' loving kiss brings her back to life. And, OMFG, Lookit the sky~! I love how I did the sky. I have now discovered a new set of tools called "Dodge", "Burn", and "Sponge" and they all helped me shade this drawing. No more messing around with funky colors! I think what I am in love with the most is the blood. It looks so much like real blood - the shifting colors from the medium red and dark red. The hair is gorgeous as well, espically Trunks. I've always found it difficult to color funky (for lack of better word) hair colors, but you captured it wonderfully.
The tears on the shirt look good too. I think I'm in love with the moon. It's just... I don't know: cute, for some reason! The eyes are great too.

Sorry I am sounding so retarded, this isn't a proper comment for this! It really isnt! When I saw it I kept having to go back and stare it at it some more because I liked it so much.
Trunks looks great and so does Dani- wow! I really feel the emotion and I love how it came across.
And lastly! The blood- wow! It looks so good. It really does look like blood :envy:
